When you contact the centre, we want to ensure that your needs are well looked after by our team. When you visit or telephone or email us, one of our front of house team members will be ready to help you.
When you want to discuss your medical case either before attending a new client appointment or after it, our Chiropractors and Osteomyologists lead by centre owner Sara will be on hand to help.
We really hope your experience with us will be a positive one, but in the event of any problem or if you have a question that the rest of our team can’t assist with, our centre manager or joint owner Paul is available to help. All of our team look forward to welcoming you in the centre.
Director & Centre Business Owner
BSc, MBCS.
Biog. I helped create the centre with Sara back in 2007. Back then I had an all-round admin role in the centre, from running the front desk to managing the centre as a whole while Sara took care of the clients. I now have an amazing team (centre family) around me to look after the day to day running of the centre and I love being able to spend my time focusing on being the creative visionary for the centre. I enjoy finding ways to constantly improve the already amazing service we offer our clients. Before opening the centre, I had spent around 10 years working in ICT in the education sector which while enjoyable, never allowed me to express my creative side or allow me to build a fantastic working relationship with those around me like I have at the centre. Outside of work, I have two fantastic daughters who I love spending time with and unlike many, I actually quite enjoy the school run with them including getting the fresh air to start my day. I love being able to use my creative side at home too, including baking (often with my girls) and designing computer software and websites.

I also love helping the centre team develop as individuals, reaching their potential and achieving their own professional goals whatever they may be. Away from work I am keen on walking and being out in the countryside. I love spending quality time with my girls and watching them grow into beautiful young ladies. When qualifying I previously worked in Lincolnshire as an Associate Chiropractor for another Centre before making the move to open the centre with my husband and start the journey to bring improved health and wellbeing to all that seek our services.

Biog. I enjoy working as a chiropractor because I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people. I’ve been a chiropractor for over 35 years and have worked in London and the south in that time. I am very inquisitive and love to learn and often to be found on the internet learning new things about a vast range of subjects. Osteomyologist
BSc (Hons), MBAcC. M.A.O.
Biog. I am an Osteomyologist here at the centre. I have always been passionate about helping and caring for people. What I enjoy most about seeing clients is when they tell me how much better they are feeling- and getting to know them as they build up their sessions with me. It is a very rewarding feeling to know the clients can get back to doing the activities they love, which they felt they couldn’t do when they were in pain. I have a degree in Acupuncture obtained from Lincoln University, and I have worked in some of the clinics around Suffolk. I have also worked in customer services alongside this as I love speaking to people from all walks of life. Personally I love to travel and I took some time out last year to travel around Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I love to surf and be in the water, but prefer it in the warmer seas!! I am a keen tennis player and also really enjoy going for long walks with my family and friends.

BSc. M.A.O.

I started studying Sport and Exercise Science in College with a particular interest in Biomechanics, Physiology and performance, Psychology and Massage. I then Studied the same topics in university as well as working as a boxing coach and personal trainer.
Following university, I worked in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities for 4/5 Years – Providing sports and games sessions for people with a range of mental health challenges and learning disabilities. I fully enjoyed this role because I got to see how simply moving your body in a targeted way with a specific goal in mind can improve symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as manage challenging behaviours.
I found myself getting frustrated within that position because I wanted to do more than manage the negative – I wanted to be a part of people’s improvement.
Following retraining within the centre, here I am as an Osteomyologist, loving being able to change peoples lives every single day !

I am an Osteomyologist here at the centre. I graduated from the University of Essex in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science. I find my job very rewarding and enjoyable as I get to see a variety of clients and consistently engage with different cases. Seeing the benefits treatment has on client's wellbeing is a real motivator in delivering the best care and bringing balance to client's lives. In my spare time I like to balance my life with boxing and snooker, and enjoy running in my regular routine. Sporting environments take up most of my time where I also love playing football with my friends and going to the gym.

The best part of working at Total Balance is working as part of a team, with each member bringing their own individuality and ideas forward. I love interacting with the clients and hearing and seeing their progression from pain to their wellbeing being greatly improved.
Previously I had various jobs including working in childcare and being a carer, as I like to help and support others.
In my personal time I like to read and write poetry, walk the dog and spend time in nature, my family and friends are very important to me and I spend as much time as possible with those I love, especially my gorgeous little granddaughter. To improve my wellbeing I try to eat healthily and do kick fit and yoga.

I enjoy working alongside caring individuals and having a giggle. It’s nice to see people after they have had treatment becoming more stable and feeling better. I like meeting the clients, getting to know them and their interests. Outside work, I love getting out into the fresh air, walking the dogs, doing photography, going fishing and climbing mountains.
I worked with children for 22 year’s before deciding on a change of career and was even inspired to complete a Swedish massage course.
I love getting out and in the countryside with my dogs, family and camera. When time allows I love getting away and going camping in my camper.
I also enjoy revamping furniture to bring new life to things that others may have simply given up on.
