Our Team

Team Wall

When you contact the centre, we want to ensure that your needs are well looked after by our team. When you visit or telephone or email us, one of our front of house team members will be ready to help you.

When you want to discuss your medical case either before attending a new client appointment or after it, our Chiropractors and Osteomyologists lead by centre owner Sara will be on hand to help.

We really hope your experience with us will be a positive one, but in the event of any problem or if you have a question that the rest of our team can’t assist with, our centre manager or joint owner Paul is available to help. All of our team look forward to welcoming you in the centre.

Director & Centre Business Owner
I helped create the centre with Sara back in 2007. Back then I had an all-round admin role in the centre, from running the front desk to managing the centre as a whole while Sara took care of the clients. I now have an amazing team (centre family) around me to look after the day to day running of the centre and I love being able to spend my time focusing on being the creative visionary for the centre. I enjoy finding ways to constantly improve the already amazing service we offer our clients. Before opening the centre, I had spent around 10 years working in ICT in the education sector which while enjoyable, never allowed me to express my creative side or allow me to build a fantastic working relationship with those around me like I have at the centre. Outside of work, I have two fantastic daughters who I love spending time with and unlike many, I actually quite enjoy the school run with them including getting the fresh air to start my day. I love being able to use my creative side at home too, including baking (often with my girls) and designing computer software and websites.

Biog. I am happily married with two girls. I love my job as I have always been passionate about helping people and bringing wellbeing to all. I love seeing people in pain get better and reach their health goals and then keeping them achieving these and more. I also love helping the centre team develop as individuals, reaching their potential and achieving their own professional goals whatever they may be. Away from work I am keen on walking and being out in the countryside. I love spending quality time with my girls and watching them grow into beautiful young ladies. When qualifying I previously worked in Lincolnshire as an Associate Chiropractor for another Centre before making the move to open the centre with my husband and start the journey to bring improved health and wellbeing to all that seek our services.

Biog. I enjoy working as a chiropractor because I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people. I’ve been a chiropractor for over 35 years and have worked in London and the south in that time. I came to Suffolk to have a more relaxed lifestyle. I enjoy walking and cooking, both of which contribute to my good health
Centre Manager
Biog. I have been leading the team at total balance since November 2018.I really love every minute working in the centre as we are like a big happy family. I find every day in the centre different, meeting new clients, looking after the needs of the team and finding ways to achieve the world class standards we always aspire to. Outside of work, I love family life and especially spending time with my partner and two wonderful daughters. I love going walking, exploring new places and enjoying the beautiful countryside. I am very inquisitive and love to learn and often to be found on the internet learning new things about a vast range of subjects. I also enjoy being creative and love making costumes for when my daughters need outfits for school events. I also love doing craft activities and building Lego models with my girls whenever I get the opportunity!

I am an Osteomyologist here at the centre. I have always been passionate about helping and caring for people. What I enjoy most about seeing clients is when they tell me how much better they are feeling- and getting to know them as they build up their sessions with me. It is a very rewarding feeling to know the clients can get back to doing the activities they love, which they felt they couldn’t do when they were in pain. I have a degree in Acupuncture obtained from Lincoln University, and I have worked in some of the clinics around Suffolk. I have also worked in customer services alongside this as I love speaking to people from all walks of life. Personally I love to travel and I took some time out last year to travel around Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I love to surf and be in the water, but prefer it in the warmer seas!! I am a keen tennis player and also really enjoy going for long walks with my family and friends.

I’m an Osteomyologist here at the centre. I really enjoy my job as I get to work with a wide range of clients, helping to bring better health and overall wellbeing into their lives, which I find very rewarding. I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science. Outside of work you’ll find me mostly on the football pitch! Playing sport takes up most of my time, as I really enjoy team environments. Along with football I also love cycling, pool, snooker, boxing, mixed martial arts, darts, poker and going to the gym. I also like to spend time socialising with my friends and family.

Centre Admin Assistant
Biog. The best part of working at Total Balance is working as part of a team, with each member bringing their own individuality and ideas forward. I love interacting with the clients and hearing and seeing their progression from pain to their wellbeing being greatly improved. Previously I had various jobs including working in childcare and being a carer, as I like to help and support others. In my personal time I like to read and write poetry, walk the dog and spend time in nature, my family and friends are very important to me and I spend as much time as possible with those I love, especially my gorgeous little granddaughter. To improve my wellbeing I try to eat healthily and do kick fit and yoga.

Biog. I enjoy working alongside caring individuals and having a giggle. It’s nice to see people after they have had treatment becoming more stable and feeling better. I like meeting the clients, getting to know them and their interests. Outside work, I love getting out into the fresh air, walking the dogs, doing photography, going fishing and climbing mountains. I worked with children for 22 year’s before deciding on a change of career and was even inspired to complete a Swedish massage course. I love getting out and in the countryside with my dogs, family and camera. When time allows I love getting away and going camping in my camper.  I also enjoy revamping furniture to bring new life to things that others may have simply given up on.

Biog. I have worked at total balance since 2017, before that I have worked as a learning support assistant, a children’s entertainer and various roles in the hospitality industry. I really enjoy meeting all the people who come to total balance, seeing them through their journey to better health and how well they become! Out of work I like to travel and spend time with my family. We like to go out on adventures and explore new places. I also like to read, watch films and do jigsaws. My big passion in life is music, I have a very wide range of music that I like, and I really enjoy spending time writing music and songs. I also enjoy trying new musical instruments and try to get as much practise in as possible.

Biog. Working at total balance has taught me so much, one being how bad my posture was. All the team are amazing and genuine people. I’m a strong believer off keeping fit and healthy (apart from the odd chocolate of course) I often go for long walks along the beach. I also enjoy going swimming with my little girl. Before working at total balance i owned my own business doing cleaning and although i decided this wasn’t for me i do still help family/friends out on my available days. I have studied in health and social care as well as phycology

I love living on the coast and enjoy walking my dog down the seafront. I enjoy DIY and can often be found with a paint brush in my hand whether it’s decorating or upcycling furniture. Biog. I have been a runner since i was 15, never covered long distances or done big races, but i enjoy running because it gives me the freedom to think and reconnect with my body and mind, it’s like a sort of meditation for me. Since i became a mum I became very sensible toward children charities and I was happy to participate in a 10 k superhero run to raise money for Child at War. I also adopted a beautiful girl in Tanzania which I wish I could go and meet soon. Because of my running and my pregnancies i experienced a few injuries and physical pain. This in a way, has helped me a lot to understand other people discomfort and pain. I love my job and chatting to clients even if they aren’t “mine” and as an ex-coffee shop assistant i still love preparing hot drinks for them. I don’t have much free time but i love cooking and prepare food from scratch every day. When i have some extra time I also like baking…and eating my cakes! if I ever have extra free time, I love browsing in charity shops.
