BrainTap is a tool that we have available at the centre to compliment your care, it uses light, sound, and guided relaxation to help your brain function better. It involves wearing a special headset that combines calming sounds, gentle lights, and guided sessions to help your brain reach a state of deep relaxation.
The headset uses sounds and gentle pulses of light to simulate both the lower frequency of alpha and the very deep meditative state of theta (3 to 7.5 Hz). By reintroducing these important brainwaves, it guides the brain back into a harmonized balance of brainwave activity, promoting optimal brain performance.
BrainTap sessions are designed to promote neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. Regular use of BrainTap can help improve cognitive function, memory, and mental resilience.
