Free Spinal Screenings

What is a spinal screen?
A free spinal screen essentially is a short appointment with a fully qualified Chiropractor or Osteomyologist. The appointment typically lasts around 10 minutes and is usually held within the centre, however sometimes we go out to locations such as shopping centres or workplaces.
The typical format for the screening begins with the Practitioner discussing with the client any issues they might have in the way of conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches etc. This may be followed by a brief fully clothed examination of the spine in the form of the Practitioner touching the back to feel for any abnormalities.
The objective of the spinal screening is to ascertain whether the client has any spinal issues, which may well be helped through treatment. In the event that we can help, details are given about booking in for a full new patient appointment at the Centre which will allow for a much more thorough consultation and examination to be conducted, along with x-rays (chargeable) if needed, followed by a full detailed verbal report of findings. If we can’t help, advice is usually given as to where the client can go which is more appropriate for them.
Who is it for?
Essentially it is for anybody who has spinal related issues – Treatment has been shown to be effective on new born babies right the way through to old age. Correcting problems in young children is usually far quicker than leaving problems to develop until adulthood.
So what is Chiropractic / Osteomyology?
In the most simple terms, it is the process of using adjustments delivered by hand or tool to correct the alignment of the joints in the spinal column.
Is it really free?
Quite simply, YES! Everything we do during the spinal screening is free and there is absolutely no obligation to take things further afterwards. We simply want to be able to reach out to the community and offer the opportunity for everyone to be able to get out of pain and live their lives to the maximum.
